Optimization of the polarization modulation strategy for the LSPE-SWIPE experiment.

CMB B-mode polarization can constrain the primordial gravitational waves background predicted by the inflationary scenario as well as the reionization history of the Universe. Several experiments have been designed to detect the B-mode signal. The forthcoming LSPE-SWIPE balloon mission, devoted to the accurate measurement of CMB polarization at large angular scales, will employ a rotating half wave plate as modulator of the incoming polarization. We will present specific forecasts aimed at optimizing the half wave plate rotation configuration.
