SIRAD is an irradiation facility at the INFN National Laboratories of Legnaro (Italy) devoted to studying the radiation damage effects in semiconductor detectors, electronic devices and systems, and materials. It exploits protons and heavy-ions beams delivered by the Tandem-ALPI accelerating system to perform studies of both Single-Event Effects and bulk damage. Here we describe the status of SIRAD by reporting the characteristics the two systems that compose it: a large irradiation chamber with the available ion beams and dosimetry systems, and the Ion Electron Emission Microscope which allows micrometric SEE sensitivity mapping of microelectronic devices.
