Rogowski coil is a current detector well known and utilised in toroidal configuration. In this presentation a linear Rogowski coil will be presented able to be imploded to study the behaviour of a planar pulse-forming line. This last is utilised to diagnose the current pulses in plane electron beams accelerator and to perform stress experiments on biological samples. The attenuation factor is found and the effects of the magnetic permeability of the coil core are demonstrated.
