Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory is a multi-purpose reactor antineutrino experiment with a baseline of about 58 km. The main goal of the experiment is to determine the neutrino mass hierarchy as well as provide accurate measurements of the oscillation parameters. The investigation of the ability to achieve the statistically significant determination of the neutrino mass hierarchy is of great importance. Energy and spatial resolution play a significant role in the sensitivity of the experiment. The intrinsic optical properties of the scintillator may affect on the energy resolution, therefore an extensive research should be conducted by INFN-Milano group in collaboration with other institutions to clarify these properties.
